I just don't seem to want to be as active here anymore, so I may go weeks with no activity. I painted only one piece in the first 6 months of this year, that has to do a lot with it. There are a couple people I have met that I wish to stay in contact with, I regret that I haven't been looking at your submitted work. So I guess I will be in somewhat of a dormant state, I will upload if/when I have new pieces and maybe I can be a better DA friend in regards to keeping up with viewing submitted works.

Everyone is awesome though!

I have a slight Australian accent, not too thick, but still there. In fact, compared to the rest of Australia it's pretty much non-existant and it often changes between Australian, American and British though I have no idea why or how...

The person who told me that it should be gheti was my mum... And she got her masters and whatnot from Australia and not America and so, you know, maybe there's a difference in the schooling somewhere along the line.

I mainly have the "typical" United States English accent, which is from the midwest region. Though I think I have a bit of a Canadian influence, and my accent is off enough for people to sometimes ask where I am from.

The person who showed me this trick of the English language was my high school English teacher, who may have a masters in something something as well :P.

I guess our accents are different. To me yours would be f-eye-sh. And my way would be fish. Not to mention that the person who told me you were wrong has a masters degree in editorial something something, but yeah, schooling is different where I come from.

I as in i when there is not an e at the end of the word, which there isn't in "ghiti". That is the...short form? Long form would be pronounced like "eye"? Elementary school grammar!

I pronounce e in "women" like "eh". So to me it would be "fehsh" if I used your rule, but I pronounce it more like "fihsh".

I got your little package hon, and oh my god...I love the painting you made for me! The colors and patterns are so vibrant, and they match the posters in our bedroom.
